Speech and Debate

Welcome to the Christian Speech and Debate page of Voyage, an affiliated club with NCFCA. Our Speech and Debate program is designed to help students develop public speaking and critical thinking skills while integrating biblical values. Through structured training and leadership development, we aim to encourage students to become confident communicators and leaders in their communities.

Enhance Communication Skills

Our Speech and Debate program focuses on helping students enhance their communication skills through practice, feedback, and coaching. Students learn how to effectively organize their thoughts, articulate their ideas, and engage in meaningful debates on various topics. By participating in our program, students not only improve their public speaking abilities but also develop critical thinking skills that will benefit them in all areas of their academics and future careers.

Integrate Biblical Values

As a Christian-based homeschool program, Voyage Homeschool is committed to integrating biblical values into all aspects of education. Our Speech and Debate program incorporates biblical principles of integrity, respect, and servant leadership, providing students with a moral compass to guide their interactions and decisions. By grounding our program in faith, we aim to nurture not only the intellectual growth but also the spiritual development of our students.

Foster a Community of Excellence, Integrity, and Faith.

Voyage Speech and Debate Club is committed to fostering a community rooted in excellence, integrity, and faith. Through structured training in speech and debate, intentional leadership development, and a steadfast commitment to biblical principles, we strive to equip our members to become articulate defenders of truth and faithful representatives of Christ in the world.

Scripture:
Colossians 4:6 – "Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person."
